Bake Sale for Beka and Crohn’s Research

Hola party people! We food bloggers are doing something special with our food blogging powers this week, and it’s pretty cool at that.

I always wanted to be a philanthropist when I grew up.

We are raising money for the Crohn’s foundation! In case you aren’t familiar, Crohn’s disease ulcerates the intestines. Some people have to have portions of their intestines removed, and remain on medication sometimes indefinitely. In addition, Crohn’s disease is an auto-immune disorder, so if you have one disorder, you are likely to develop another.

This awesome bake sale is put on by Megan Keno from Country Cleaver. #oneawesomechick

She is hosting this bake sale for her best friend Beka, from Kvetchin’ Kitchen. Kvetchin’ Kitchen, how cute is that?!!! #EvenMoreAwesomeChick

PLUS, a whole host of ladies are participating!! This bake sale is going on this Sunday and Monday, 10/28-10/29, and you will have the chance to bid on some DEE-LICOUSSS baked goods made by us awesome bloggers.

Like Moi, and my el mio favorit-o MUD HEN BARS!!! You like how I can suavely mix two languages there?

WOW. I have no idea why I’m so corny today.

ANYHOW, you can click on the button below, and it will take you to Megan’s site. You can bid on all kinds of baked goods, PICKMYBARS, and then one of us lovely ladies will ship them to you! How cool is that??!!!

So get out the wallets ladies and gentlemen, because we’re gettin’ out the big guns, i.e. hand mixer and wooden spoon, let’s

RAISE. SOME. MONEY!

As Beka says, JAZZ HANDS!!!!

~Peace, Love, and Philanthropy Y’all!
