I just wanted to say hey y’all! This is what I’ve been doing this week:
Howdy! I turned t-h-i-r-t-y this weekend. Shhh… don’t say it too loud. No one will everrr knoowwww.
It was pretty fun.
My best friend made me brookies, you know, brownie/cookies, from a box! AND THEY WERE GOOD!
She also planned a surprise party of sorts at a restaurant, and friends picked us up with balloons in the car. I FaceTimed with family and friends, ate great food, and slept. A lot.
We played “Wits and Wagers,” a totally fun board game.
I think after I get over the shock of it all, I’ll rock this year. But must get over the shock first.
I made another batch of black eyed peas. I just can’t get enough! Post coming Thursday.
It’s filled with that yummy stuff called bacon that I like all of a sudden. Whoa.
I attempted making bread. Oh yeah, I forgot to add water.
No, this did not happen in some post birthday party stupor. Just a normal Monday morning. Oops.
Oh look, there’s my favorite pink daisy pj pants. Oops.
I’ve become a rollerball addict. Who knew?
I used to be a one scent kinda girl, but then I discovered $20 rollerballs at Sephora.
I can try ALL THE ROLLERBALLS!
I made Buffalo Chicken Quinoa from the Gooseberry Patch cookbook I’ll be giving away in a few weeks. SO GOOD.
I think I’m addicted to buffalo chicken now too!
I wonder how healthy quinoa is after you add 3 cups of cheese and some sour cream. *sigh.*
BUT IT’S SO GOOD.
Oh look. I redeemed myself. With water.
Completed load of Oatmeal Applesauce bread.
Not sure why it’s shaped like a conehead.
